The Trova R1 is a standalone battery powered tracker making use of GPS and SigFox. The function of the tracker is to lie dormant until the device is put into a tracking mode. The Trova R1 will check-in to the server at a regular (programmable) interval supplying health and orientation status. Optionally the tracker may be fitted with an accelerometer to detect motion. If the device needs to be located, the server callback will instruct the tracker to go into tracking mode with the parameters of position interval and tracking time. At this point the Trova R1 will activate GPS and send GPS position at the interval specified. Includes 1 year platform access, R500 per annum there after.
